Also think we just found a splashed Magnum...with lots of extra original gas caps deck hardware and misc. parts The hull ID # is gone and received a new number from the state. Is ther any where on the boat that Magnum may have put the # other than the transom.

Thanks we will check into that...if it is a real Magnum Maltese it is set up a little different ,the air in takes on the side scoops are not like the other two we are working on.They look like they were stamped and not cast bronze,he also has the original pedestal seat set up plus a racing bolster. We also saw a dash panel that looked original that looks it was never in a boat and think it said hull 69.One other difference is it did not have the normal rear blower hoods, they came out of the rear transom just below the rear engine hatch cover.Again there are no numbers on the transom and the title was issued in 1993 as most likely a replacement or new title. We will check the title and hull ID # when the Sec of state opens up.
Also you can check out the 1st almost completed Maltese at our web-site www.boatwrapzs.com which was shown at the Chicago Boat Show last January.

Mr. Vinyl,
If I remember correctly it was under the dash module on the front wall next to where the steering unit is located. looked like it was just painted on with a small brush almost like a black Sharpie?
Aaron, where is yours located under the dash?
Thank you
Jim
