Update: pointed windscreen 27 Sport
#1
I just paid an a$$ load of money for some old Magnum 27 Sport brochures and it was totally worth it.
Along with many cool pictures there are standard and optional equipment lists.
In one of the early 70's brochures there is a reference to an optional "custom pointed windscreen"
Here are the 3 rare pointed windscreen Sports I've seen pictures of:

Aaron,
The lime green one is in my backyard we have 5 magnums here in Buffalo, This guy's boat sure looks fine, I heard it was redone a about 6years ago. If your out there lime green guy? get to the party and join the Buffalo Offshore Club! we have 3 of the 5 Magnums as members of our Club and now that I'm President I want every Magnum in Buffalo join up. I have the 2nd oldest boat in the club a red 1976 Sport, I got beat by a grey 1972 Magnum Sedan. Another member has a all white Starfire, he took his to the Key West Poker Run this year. There is one other guy in Buffalo who has an "all orig." red Starfire this one is probably the finest in the USA for my .02 but he's not a member yet.

24 Degree, that sure is good news to me about Magnum offering a V windscreen in their brochure in the early 70s.When Geo.invited us to the plant after the OPBRA race in 71 we met a man named Everet Sutton who was in charge of production, after the grand tour we went out front to look Vxen over. Now he told us that Magnum never made a V windscreen on the sport, but sumbody had done a nice modification.I sure would like to know how many were built,Magnum sure dont know.I always felt that Arr. sold some that never got put on the books and thats why Magnum cant come up with records on the sport.Spent a lot of time with Roger Munn and he knows more about that time at Magnum then any one i have met and the stories he can tell are awsome if your into Magnums.
