steeb, I really like the white SD150 at Stockholms Mässan! We end up at 875 hp @ 5700rpm. Johnny and his crew have done a great work! The motor are now ready to be placed in my boat latest wednesday.

Mange sounds great.
Thats quite the opposite to 850@7500 rpm 572 that I know of ;-)

Bytheway has anyone considered twin smallblocks in an Arrow?

twin smallblocks in a Arrow would be very wrong i think. The very low freeboard makes it inpossible. Maybe if you make one without rear seats and go half staggred. Maybe i gona try convince my friend Pecka to build one. He has two dry sump 400ci Sbc 650@7500 with CMI Step tubes....

That was the one being built before my boat.

How low is it then ?

ok the outdrive do weigh much but thenagain your engine ain´t a lightweight either...

And I got a "spare" Donovan aluminum smallblock and a Kinsler setup...

I would not go for the twin SBC. There is a lot better to go with one big powerful BBC. The difference in weight between singel and twin engines are too big.
The BBC with aluminum heads and intake aren´t that heavy.

Hi Mange,

just a question: On the dyno pic, the engine has another set of exhaust pipes than it has standing on the pallet after dyno, right? Why didn't you run with the separate pipes on the dyno? From my experience there is a lot of power to be gained with a properly tuned set of exhausts... (as I am sure you already know... )

Impressive numbers anyway - very interesting to follow this!
