I would not go for the twin SBC. There is a lot better to go with one big powerful BBC. The difference in weight between singel and twin engines are too big.
The BBC with aluminum heads and intake arenīt that heavy. And even an aluminum headed BBC etc is a heavy mother anyway you look at it. |

So 3 years of on/off work with my 28 Arrow coming to an end. Thats a litle bit funny cuz when I orderd the bare hull/deck my plan was a single Merc 496/425hp....but I went SC EFI 572/875hp insted... Maybe we have a litle chans to splash her first time late tomorrow. We had to get the engine hatch rised a half inch so I need to fix the hatch pins and a big number small things done tomorrow. A picture from tonight.
