STM,
Welcome to OSO! I guess the old owner wasn't lying when he said if I didn't take the boat he had another buyer. Keep checking on this site, the people here have great knowledge about Magnums, or they can turn you onto a boat.
The Magnum hull (from the waterline down) is in great shape, the deck/cockpit need some glass work. The stringers and bulkheads appear solid. I'm probably going to make it into a single and run class 5 in OPA. I've got a 24 Sunsation now and race in class 6. I might strip the Sunsation hull to rig the Magnum-engine, drive, steering, and tabs. Do you have any interest in a Sunsation hull/trailer?
Good luck in your search!!!

Thanks for the Welcome and the offer of the Sunsation hull and trailer. I think if I look at projects they will be classics. The Sunsation does have the nice classic lines but I think a Rocket might be a little small for me . I wasn't sure the Magnum would be big enough, but at that price I was willing to find out. My neighbor, NoCig, has one,and after looking it over I don't think I want to have something smaller . If I change my mind I'll get in touch. Thanks again Bob.
