This dude says it's a '72.....has the early "short" dash.

A '71 with the short dash.......

502......I just collect pics of Magnums from the internet (obviously).......I don't remember where I saw that boat?........I think it was here on OSO that someone posted about it. I search old posts a lot.

Like Mike (nocig) said.......look under the dash.......the hull number might be written in black ink........it's probably a 3 digit number.

I have hull 301 and it's written under the dash.

Thank you all for the information. It has been a huge help. I just learned that the property the boat currently is sitting on may be foreclosed on.:angry-smiley-055: I need to contact the town on Monday and then hoepfully the bank and find out what the deal is. Im gonna keep trying. I did check NADA and the only list the 35' maltese for the early 70's.

So I have a question for you all,

I was able to get intouch with the guy and he is hinting he wants some where in the 8-10k range, He says both motors run and both outdrives are also good. I guess I am wondering if you think the boat is worth 10k with good motors and drives and what is it worth with bad motors or drives or both? I think he is too high but I have no experience with this brand of boat, What do the experts think(Thats you guys)?:D

$8-10K isn't too bad if it really does run and drive......I ask him to prove it.........and honestly.........I'd have a survey done on it to make sure it's structurally sound.
