Don't know for sure if it was exactly 7000, but it sounded like it.

THere is no tach on that boat right now. I was using a 25 mirage 3 blade trimmed up pretty high. I also don't know how much power that engine really makes because it was never on a dyno, I just put it together out of some stuff in my shop.

I think the weather is supposed to be nice sunday and I will get a Tach and see really what is going on back there.

It was fun anyway.

Like i said just curios. We run a 26 Bravo 1 with a about 550hp on Vixen for a time, but couldnt break 5200,but did get over 70 mph, even went with a 28 Bravo and got a little more top end but nothing inbetween.I no your X is a little higher then mine and i am surprised you did that good with a 25 3 blade.Anyway i know about fun just going out and testing somthing new.

I think the 3 blade slips a lot more. I also had it trimmed up pretty high for a cool rooster tail.

Looks like sun and 70 for sunday, so I'll let you know next week. I might just be imagining things.

If it will fit on an XR I think it would be perfect.

I'd hate to change drives just to change props.

You would have to get a new hub for it but it should not be a problem.

I am gonna try to get out sunday if the weather is nice. We can pull it from my boat and see what it does on yours.

It's a little much for me unless i lab it.
The 25pM+ has shown me the best speed so far so i think i will try that 25p Mirage you have and see what diff i get from the M+ and the Non +.

I also want to try a rev 4.

I don't think you can change the hubs on a hydro?

It's not a solid hub.

I've never seen a changeable hydro, but whatever. If it fits, I don't care.

Sunday sounds good to me.

That boat loves Bravo 1 props , find one - it gives just the right amount of trsnsom lift -
Did you get it out on the water again ?
