Would you believe a friend of mine, and throttle man from our EASTEN EXPRESS team Rob K is the new owner of Anaconda. Rob use to owne with his Dad the Mag CHARGE IT M-588, and the ANACONDA was Rob's next door neighbors boat. Both of those Magnum teams along with my Mag were on the same street here on the Lake St Clair in the 70's.

theres 2 in michigan, there 2 that were created for a div called interforce they were made for the police in dubi, one had a molded wind screen, one has a plexi window same as kid apache yep theres 3 or 4 of us fools, there not that fast 100 mph but the ride is better than anything on the water, and youl never get passed by yourself. You have a Apache cat ?? ANACONDA Rob also has a Apache cat , did he talk about it ? I dont think he used it much, his uncle [my neighbor] said he thought someone put a Vodoo hex on Anchor Bay against his Big Cat !!! WHO WOULD DO THAT ??????? Not a member of the KOOL CAT Club ! |
Seen Anaconda a couple seasons ago on LSC, It looked good from a far, but does need work, theres been alot of talk about it on another post..........

Would you believe I have pictures of that whole project, wasn't bondo was a food source back then. Who would have thought Sunsation Powerboats would later build their boats in there. I heard Mr Ricky retired in 06.

Yeah.....that Mirage is what I'm talking about.....that thing is perfect!......I'm not sure what it is about that era of boat?.......maybe it's because I was a kid at the time?.....they just do it for me.
I lost a lot of interest in boats after about 1982-83.......the molded swim platform is the root of all evil as far as I'm concerned.......teak swim platforms are cool sometimes. Sorry....you got me off on a rant. :) |
