If the Dictator is purple, and it looks to be, then I have to believe it is the boat I acquired last month as "The Viking".
Ever since I first saw "The Viking" I could see it had a scripted "D" faintly printing through the yellow that it was repainted in.
Also the word "The" is exactly in the same position & same script as "The Viking".
I have been wondering what came after the "D".
After wet sanding the hull the original purple is very noticeable in spots.

Thanks for sharing the pictures if you have any other history of ownership I would surely be appreciative.

Just confirmed it. The NJ numbers are a match !!! It's the Dictator !!!!!
Any Ideas on who was owner ? Why it was named Dictator? looks as if it might have some Polish roots as it has the Polish Eagle on it.

The Dictator was owned by Roy Stahm, according to notes from Roger,it was a 74 and Purple. He has a list of some 50-75 Magnums that he worked on that he is reviewing and I will publish it when it is done. Also the ladder idea is his also,he developed it and many copied it and I have posted it below. Nice Cantilever idea on the ladder.
Simple idea's are always the best.

I decided the original name & color will go back on it.
I have never like changing a boats name.

I knew your father well. I lived in Silver Bay Point. How is he?
