-----H20,,,Reportedly,,,the engines were left out last winter without draining. You remember last winter. Bad cold spells etc. etc.. It seems like they arent over yet, but I got my DONZI wet today anyway. Corned beef at Browns was awsome!!!,,,Anyway,,, Freeze plugs no longer intact. No further exploration done. Other parts missing as well, I am told.........Bill S

I'll never tell ! I have meet many great people in the 39 years I have been at this, starting with my first job at Diamond Racing Engines back in 1969. Hope you can make the reunion June 14. This was my Donzi back in 1972.

------Thanks for asking but no,,,The Spitfire is in the glass shop. I think I found one of the most talented fiberglass guys on the planet. All the wood is gone,,,replaced by closed-cell. The transom was vacuum bagged and is a piece of artwork. And to top it off hes a good, honest, hardworking kid!!!
------The drivetrain other than the engines is done and waiting, but the engines are where I had a "supplier" problem. The people I contracted to supply the engines are closed and gone with my money. If there was any chance of them burning any one else Id bring up thier name, but that doesnt seem likely.
------Id like to find someone in my area (Marine City) that would rig the boat in my (admittedly automotive oriented) shop that I could trust. Not to be flippant, but is that asking too much???..........Bill S
------H20,,,Nice DONZI,,,I especially liked those whitewall tires on the trailer.

Eddito....I run 21 Mirage Plus on my Bravo/350 27 Sport.....and the engines turn 5200-5400.......it runs 66mph GPS.
I hope this helps......
And the anchor is hard to find....my buddy and I are just going to mod a Danforth.
