Some more pics from Sunday.. Front on deck lifeline needs to be shortened as I cut the poles, os it's not yet installed. |
Mario,
At long last!!! Mag looks great and sounds like she's running well. Good luck. 60 mph at 5400 rpm is nice, what props? - M |

I go all the way down to Alton a few times a year for fried clams (Pops) since Sandy Point is off our list after tons of years going there. I'll have to look out for it.
Looks crazy good from here ! Congrats ! |
Oh, wait, your location says Wolfeboro. Your photo is down in Alton. We go there (Wolfeboro) almost every week-end by boat, and walk the dog down the bike path.. I will keep my eyes open for your boat there.

Really a nice job on the boat!
Timeless and VERY well done. I'm really diggin the deck with the inlay. |
Thank you Vintage! I like the deck too, now I just need to figure out how to keep it looking good. It will be in the sun all summer.
SB, what is your boat? I'm rarely in the town of Wolfeboro, but my island is in Wolfeboro . I launch in Alton or Robert's Cove. |
ARRGHHH . . Did I tell you I hate anything made in the USA! I installed all new power steering in this boat 2 years ago, EVERY hose is failing except the SS Aeroquip hose . . blew a hose at the helm, dumped PS fluid all over the new teak cockpit . . I am so F**king pissed I could sink this *****!
FWIW, I restore and build Porsches and BMWs, and we avoid anything that is Made in the USA and China . . taking the PS apart and pushing all the fluid out , accessing all the hoses secured under the deck with adel clamps, routed above the exhaust on the transom . . I don't look forward to this! I'll replace everything with Aeroquip, just like we build our race cars! |
