Giovanni,
Welcome to OffshoreOnly! I can only hope that your mom/Magnum brings back the 27 Sport! If money was no object, the 27 Sport would be my pick! Untill then, I 'll continue restoring a 27 Sport hull that I've recently picked up.
What would be required to bring it back? You have the molds already?

Giovanni:
I started racing in 1973 with a 27' sport. Won the NORA National title in 1974. Had Danny Durough build a Maltese in 1976 that we rigged, and trust me, it was one of a kind. I presently own a fully restored 1975 Maltese. Nothing would make me happier, than to see Magnum bring the 27 back to life.

Giovanni,
I've had the pleasure of meeting your father on a few occasions. IMO, the now is the time to bring the 27 back. Both outerlimits and Hustler are now making smaller boats.

Giovanni, you and Harold have always been so gracious when I visited Magnum and thanks again for providing the Magnum people with old build sheets so we can track what still may be out there. We hope to have that list done before you publish the 45th anniversary book.

On the production of a new 27 Magnum we all have been waiting to finally see it ,and were looking for it at the Miami show.We hope that management will allow it to be completed. If you can post photos of it that would be great. Also post this blog in the Classic Boat section.

Currently I own 4 Magnums 2 Maltese,25 Sport and a rare 29-9 all in for restoration,...so you can see that I am a big fan and wiil send off a e-mail to mangement Bud Weisner

Nice to see you here Giovanni. Your interest in the classic Magnums and history is great news!

I'd love to see photos of your boats....

Giovanni Theodoli Welcome to OSO. I have had many power boats over the years but none compare to a Magnum. As the former owner of hull #311 a Sport with race history & current owner of Sedan #267-A that is under restoration, I feel it would be a shame not to bring back the Magnum 27' Anniversary Edition. The Magnum 27' is a timeless classic, and anything else is just a copy.

Default Magnum's

Welcome Giovanni ! I meet your mother when I visited the plant several years ago, fine lady. I have owned a '70 Sedan,'75 MAGNUM 35, and today have two 27' Sedans, one powered by twin 300X on bracket. Enough said, keep them coming for future generations. Michael "HIGH LIFE"

Hi Giovanni,
I have a 27 Sport with H & M Ford Power and have two spare, zero time turbine engines and might want to put them into a NEW 27 Sport, if you build them, pleased me me all the info you have on it at sea level these are 800 H.P. Max Continuous.
I am at [email protected] or 702-369-1966 thanks, Drex
