Dave the big difference with a Starfire is the raised rear deck to accomadate big blocks . As I said on G.L.O. site it should be a great build. I will talk to Mark Lowman and get any more info on her. Mark h2o

first set of pics in the barn are a Clem Gem Lancer that i bought

Second set of pics are a Magnum i looked at a few years ago but lost track of

Hatch on second boat is pretty cool and i was wondering if anyone has ever seen one like it. Is it a factory piece?
Dave that Mag was the old Turbo Twister, the hatch may have been made in Algonac at Cherokee boats. I will ask around for more info on that one

thanks Mark, i knew you were on this site to but i'm easily confused when different screen names are used lol

I appreciate your effort and the info. Yes that was the name of that Mag i remember it now that you mention it. That really was a cool project and i really wish i had gotten there sooner. It needed everything (and i mean everything) but had smallblocks with the small Weiand blowers on them. All of it needed rebuilding but all the right stuff was there. I also liked that hatch and the vintage McClouds. I took pics of the hatch specifically because i knew i was going to need to reproduce it someday.

thanks for illustrating the differance in the decks i thought that had something to do with it.

Dave, Your hull looks like every part of a 188th st. Mag sport. So What is a Lancer and who is Klem Gem?
