Dave the big difference with a Starfire is the raised rear deck to accomadate big blocks . As I said on G.L.O. site it should be a great build. I will talk to Mark Lowman and get any more info on her. Mark h2o

for clarification the pics in post one and post two are two different boats. The first is the one i bought the second one (outside pics) is one i looked at two years ago. It has a hatch i am going to reproduce. i believe, or thought they were both Sport decks. A few have allready expressed they thought they were the same boat.
first set of pics in the barn are a Clem Gem Lancer that i bought
Second set of pics are a Magnum i looked at a few years ago but lost track of
Hatch on second boat is pretty cool and i was wondering if anyone has ever seen one like it. Is it a factory piece?

thanks Mark, i knew you were on this site to but i'm easily confused when different screen names are used lol
I appreciate your effort and the info. Yes that was the name of that Mag i remember it now that you mention it. That really was a cool project and i really wish i had gotten there sooner. It needed everything (and i mean everything) but had smallblocks with the small Weiand blowers on them. All of it needed rebuilding but all the right stuff was there. I also liked that hatch and the vintage McClouds. I took pics of the hatch specifically because i knew i was going to need to reproduce it someday.
thanks for illustrating the differance in the decks i thought that had something to do with it.
