i am gutting every piece of stringer and bulkhead out of it and will be doing the transom in marine ply with Coosa stringers and bulkheads, i think Coosa and Penske are similar. While everything is out i will complety tab the deck all the way around. For the floor i will probably do a custom liner with footwells. The layout will be similar to a Gladiator so i will probably put in a console and a full width dash. Not to concerned with a cabin in this one but may have some limited deck access through a hatch or something. You can use Penske or Coosa for cockpit sole just make sure its fully encapsulated.

The drives were very trick for the day with the trim option
The speedmaster lowers worked like a dream.
The 69 Caddy towed awesome with a set of air shocks on the rear.
That boat was the cats azz back in the day small blocks, big H.P. To be honest it wasn't very fast.

Mark, Any guess to what the lower lifeline measurement might be? I own a '76 sport and want to be period correct when the lifeline is installed. I recently measured 16'' from deck to top of eye from an old set of stanchions ('73 sport) typical of the one pictured in Lucky strike's mag sport. If anybody else knows, that's cool also.

I sold her in 1987 to a friend Dan Humes, and they raced her as Chemical Re Action. In hind sight should have never sold her.....
