Nice ..:ernaehrung004:
We had a longer run today, about 65 miles, between the islands outside Stockholm. The highest speed today was slightly over 70. There is still more to give. |
70! That is nice. She has 383's and bravos right? I have not had the chance to gps my starfire yet. Love your color, if I was going to repaint, that would be my 1st or 2nd pick. Looks really great, congratulations.

Marshall You're right about the 383's but we run TRS and Merc II gearboxes, all original. Hallj came to visit and check out the boat today. He was kind enough to take some pictures and here is one were we are doing about 72. |

best recorded GPS i got out of it was 78.7 mph
2-3 foot chop and cool air really make it move. you're going to need to get some waves out there to get some air under the boat to hit that. even in peak summer months with hot air/water it still ran 74 mph fully loaded up those small blocks just sound awesome when you get on the throttle dont they

I'm up to 5300 now but I haven't pushed the throttles all the way yet. I don't think it is much left though. We have a very low slip of only 6 % so we are definitely going to need more revs if we want more speed. |
I want to say 5600
throw some 21 pitch on and trim it all the way out and i bet you can get them turning over 5800

Yeah, the sound is awesome. The carbs have been a bit off but hallj helped me set the idle needles today.

Jeppe, Your Sport looks perfectly balanced in the photo. The hull looks straight and level and the orange is my choice also. I own hull #341...I'm in the process of filling in the old TRS cutouts. Looking for 383's as well but w/ Brv 1's
