Don't have my build sheet handy but magnum didn't build too many boats in 83' so its pretty rare in that regard. Post some pics and the hin# if you can. I have a starfire that I just restored this past winter so glad to offer any advice. Don't know about arneson's but there are a couple out there at least. I have run mark4 454's both stock and supercharged. A set of well build 500hp 502's would be pretty sweet I imagine

Pictures soon, Hull # is mcz831050993 according to the title and it's a 1984 boat not a 83. Waiting for ground to dry up so I can hull it home and get started stripping her. The floor is soft from the previous owner leaving it uncovered for a year or two. Looking at the photos from other posts love them. Grew up near the shipping channel resturant and my father was good friends with alot of the old racers. (Kenny Black, Dan Patrona and Turner) Loved watching the races behind my folks house on Anchor bay, Mi.

Sounds like you have a [MICHIGAN HOMEMADE BOATS MIC FOR STATE ISSUED HINS MI ] retitled boat, or ???? Dose it have just one fuel tank under the cockpit floor, & a walkway in the cabin ??? A few years ago Mike [nocig] talked about a boat just like this one, it was a AERO here in the Detroit area.

The title states that it is a Magnum. It has 2 fuel tanks under the rear seat and it has the walk way into the cabin. Looking at some photos that are other Threads it looks like it could be a Aero style. Have a picture to post but can't figure out how to load. Any help is appreciated. Have you seen the A 6 arneson drives on a Mag or Aero before? The old owner claims he picked it up from a Police auction and it was a former smuggling boat. The trailer has a Police serial # stamped on the trailer.

That sure sounds like the boat Mike told me about. Mike lives down river, Newport Mi is not to far from there. One more thing to look for is there a insert in the middle of the deck, or a anti skid surface. What ever make it is it sounds like a cool boat. If Mike would have told me about it I may have bought it.
Here is a Mag that had # 6 Arneson drives on it. Sparky @ Vicious restored it with Bravo drives. It's this Black & white Mag on Lake St Clair.

Any recommendations for interiors around the new baltimore area. When it is time to do the engines the boat will be near the mouth of the salt river. The interior. Of the black and white looks awesome.

My friend Bob [reliable one] had a guy he found on craigslist do the bolster in his 38' Scarab, I think his shop was in East Point. I have also heard of a place on Palms Rd. I'm in need of a interior for my Mag also, but I need someone that will do candy stripe. The place in Newbaltimore I would pass on & Rabers ??? They had my brothers seats for some time, still not done. If your by the Salt River your right by my place on the lake.
