Anybody that has taken the rub rail off I have a few questions. Is this rub rail the Taco Stainless 1 1/4"? Also what was under the stainless? Is it a Taco rigid vinyl underlay? 1"?

I like the semi rigid vinyl,(F-2276) or rigid (R-1453)screwed every foot and then topped of by S.S. which is screw every 6"". Need to lay out the 6" pattern first so screws for the vinyl rail do not interfere.I use Barbour Plastics Inc. products www.barbourplastics.com Bud

what was the original style rub-rail on these boats? My sport has an aluminum clear anodized rub rail.

Original...Original was Custom Gold Anodized rub rail,most likley aluminum. Bud
