It might be easier/cost effective to just have new teak inserts made. I have used Buck Woodcraft for my teak lumber purchasses, they also do mill for custom orders. They are in Marathon FL.

As some of you know I run a BMW restoration shop . . when we redo an old E9 3.0 CS Coupe . .which has solid aluminum mouldings every where we have the parts restored with a polished ceramic coating. This looks precisely original and fills pits and scratches, once polished it's perfect.
I will contact the vendor of these services and see if he is interested in expanding to boats, right now he is exclusive for cars . . Mario L. www.VSR1.com |
