Mario here are the speeds from the Charles's Crab speed run on the St Clair River from 1976. My old Mag was called SHOWDOWN P-60 back then & it was the fastest Magnum there @ 65mph with the stock Trs 280 package.

Getting ready to turn the corner. Mounts setup and aligned, transom shields set, k-planes set. just a couple of small holes left to fill. If I have my way next week Awlgrip will start filling the air. The ressurection of hull Maltese #01

Any updates? That is pretty cool that yours is the 1st Maltese out of the mold and I think it's a good call leaving it tangerine as well.
I have a couple of questions. What centerline are your engines/drives mounted at, and what is the dimension from the transom plate to the rub rail? Also did you run into any problems mounting the K Planes where you have them? I am installing the same SP drives and transoms on my sport along with the 280 K Planes.

was there ever a 74' 28ft Maltise with a single screw, or for it to be that way someone needed to change this? Also, is there provenance that can be obtained from a hull id, and if so, any idea where ?
