H20, did you see the 74? Mirage on detroit craigslist or the Mirage thats sitting in the boat yard at 9 1/2 Jefferson?
Any thoughts on these two?

4x4 motor mounts give a nice soft ride and the stringer sides just need some wood stain or preservative..... wow, just when you think you've seen it all, too funny.

I have seen the one @ Island Harbor I have heard it my be a donated boat. It looks better than the craiglist one, I dont know much more than that. If you can do most of the work yourself they might be worth saving, if not they will be a money pit..

The only thing that works on an old boat is....................it's owner.

I know the complete story on the one at Island Harbor. It was not a donated boat. Same owner for last 16-17 years.
It has been sold but wont be moved for another week. Ask me how I know. :hijack:

I bought it. I new the previous owner prior to the guy I bought it from. He bought if from Jefferson Beach back when I worked there. Guy I bought it from kept it at the shoreclub next to his 50 ft sail boat.

Great,,whats the condition & what power big or smallblock. I have had two & there a great boat . You could race them on Sunday & take the family out on Monday.:party-smiley-004:

Needs paint and interior first. Slight blistering in bottom. Boat is all original and has not been butchered at all. Twin small block 280s, had those in both my magnums and loved them. Stringers and transom solid. Needs tabs and full hydraulic steering. Runs great, but most likely will refresh engines.
Plan is to make it look like an old race boat. My girls wanted it called Seabiscuit because they have horses.
