Look at all the wood in that boat as it most likely all wet if your going with big power. When Klem rigged them he never sealed any of the holes or bolts & screws that he made & that let moisture in. Anyone who ever raced a Klem boat would always find a GOOD glass shop [ like Tiger Fiberglass Maryville Mi] to fix all Jim's shortcomings before they would ever think of racing them. Some of Jim's boats even had wet resin in between the lay ups.

Thanks for the heads up guys, today we took the boat apart and found some of the garbage previously done but nothing my glass guy can't handle, just a lot of short cuts and nuts bolds that where not even SS!! Guys like this should lose the privilege to touching or owning a boat, my biggest issue is that the rain and/or hose water when they were cleaning the cabin don't flow back to the bilge, I think I'm pulling the tanks out as well!!! I have a little issue maybe someone here can help me the trailer don't have the numbers or sticker and I call Michigan today and they tell me that I need the tag # or for the previous owner to give me the ID# for that trailer, if anyone has a picture of the back of trailer with tag or knows any way to get the ID# for trailer I will appreciated. Thanks

You take trailer parts reciepts to the dmv, say you built it, they give you new numbers

When you pull the Klem tanks keep kerig manufacturing in mind. Builds some nice replacements. Good luck with the project.
