Beautiful boat. None finer than a Magnum.

Hopefully this link works...... There is some wiring, plumbing, and upholstery work still to be done. Should be in the water this spring!

Hotrod62, You are an artist. Great job. That boat is one of my favorites. I grew up a couple docks down from the powder keg in the early to late 70's. I would walk down the docks and just stand next to the keg and wonder why it never left the dock. They left it in the water year after year in the lagoons rotting away under willow trees. only saw it leave the dock once or twice. I remember looking into the water trying to see the drives through all the growth growing from the hull. In the lagoons there where only two performance boats back then. The Powder Keg and a boat called Fly United. Now there is twenty or thirty at a time.

Great job and thanks for sharing pictures. What did you paint the boat with? My sport is primed now on the deck. Trying to figure out the bottom. Previous paint looks like aw grip gone wrong.

That is a class act, great work..Very well done.

Good to see others are like minded when it comes to a classic rebuild.
