Pete his sport I'm posting had that type of hatch too, sure makes it easy to work on the engines. . One thing that is for sure is that if anyone put this much quality work into a hull like this yellow one be it a Magnum or a Klem Gem they would have one GREAT boat. I know of a Klem Gem that will be getting this kind of a make over & when done will be better than a real Mag but it's not going to be inexpensive to do ..... Mark

Mark..........There seems to be 2 stages of this particular setup that i've seen (1) an engine hatch that incorporates just the back bench seat, but leaves the sit down seat in place and (2) a hatch that incorporates the full bench seat in total to lift up...........either one would be a plus in my opinnion as to enter the engine compartment like a gentleman, rather than diving in!!

Scippy my choice is the one where the seats are permanent, like the yellow one and the back of the seats lift up with the hatch. You still would have good access to the engines with a lot less weight to lift. Bud
