And you all thought that the Minnesota Ice Man came to the UK to race in the Cowes Torquay Cowes event when actually he got a part time job (unpaid) as a wine waiter at the Royal Yacht Squadron.

----Theres a bunch of empty glasses in that picture! I hope Jeff picked up the pace as those guys look mighty thirsty. Theres nothing quite as bad as a parched ocean racer. Just ask Mark, or me for that matter!!!.......Bill S

And to prove a point Mark this is me driving after I had Jeff bring the boat over to Cowes for me this last weekend. I still can`t drive two at once !
The basic boat is now 44 years old, but timeless in design and is still a fantastic riding hull.

Bud,
I am pleased that you understand our problem.
When Jeff first applied for the job as a wine waiter he said that he was fully trained.
We later understood that he meant “house trained” in other words he knew when he had to go outdoors.
Then when we told him that all the Gentlemen guests at the dinner would be wearing “Blazers” he thought that meant that all our jackets would be on fire !!
He obviously has a basic lack of understanding of the English language here in the UK.
Although he will be returned to you as a better man he is still classified here as “Work in progress”
