Default 73 Sport #MAG272610573

73 Sport #MAG272610573... Looking for any info about this sport. Found it listed and it was raced. But its missing all of its war paint. She has been sitting since 2007 in the same spot. Bought around in 2006 from someone in Monroe MI.

She needs some work. Twin SBC, One header caught on fire during the first run. Boat was parked after that due to owners health issues. Here are a few pictures. Any idea what its really worth in this condition?

Yes this Mag had many names & owners but Bonanza was it's name when it sank in the Lake Pontchartrain race. This Mag was a Volvo boat when new & converted to Trs by patching the transom with aluminum plates.

H2o's second picture is Harbor Marine in Monroe Michigan. What caused her to sink Mark?

Greg I believe a water line came off & down it went... Ironhead raced against it with there Mag [ Ship On It ] & may have more info on the sinking. A old friend Dan had this Mag for some time @ the Monroe club, but sold it & bought a Starfire Mag . But Dan had bad luck with that Starfire & sold due to a bad bottom.

Who ever buy's this Mag if YOU cant do all the work needed to restore it you will spend $$$$, my sport that I restored came in just under 20k & I did it all myself but the interior.. And that was attainable because thanks to ironhead for giving me a set of engines that I had built years ago for a catamaran project we had. This is why the Short Circuit Mag was such a deal.
