Best of luck and have a BLAST on the water.
Pick ity up myself -or- have a tow company do it for me...........what don't you get?

Pete, the "new" boat looks great. I'll always have dock space available if you want to visit

Pete I know how you feel after I finished my sport I took a break before starting the sedan's restoration thinking that would make this next project easier, NOT !! After a 2 year break I find myself moving at half the speed I use too doing any of the work now on the sedan. At 62 the body just does not work like it use to especially when you are doing all the restoration yourself. I will finish the sedan because my sport is a great boat but down the road the small cockpit & cabin that it has will be traded for the sedans higher sides larger cockpit & real cabin just like your new Cigarette. Funny though I just had this conversation about age & running out of energy with a good friend of mine who restored many cars & boats that because of his age he just wants to maintain the his toys he has not do any more total restorations. Pete if the Cig fits your needs I don't blame you one bit enjoying the new boat this year with the family is what it's all about. Mark

Mark....Exactly and perfectly put!!!......Ability & drive and lots & lots of energy are key in seeing through projects like these (especiallly if your doing all the work yourself) but honestly, if the Cig didn't come my way I would've still been at it, I wasn't activerly looking for another boat......but when the boat did present itself, I took a long hard look and realized .......Do I pass up another 2 or maybe 3 more summers without having a boat on the ocean? - or - take advantage of what just floated my way?..............I really hate walking away from the 27' sport project especially after all the work I put into it.....you might think I'm crazy, but I had a daily schedule that was like a relationship ...."Just me and the old Mag, working to make her beautiful again done all in this Mag cave I built".........away from everybody!!......................The Cig will now take away all the scrapped knuckles & back aches, but the Sport 27????......Mannnnnnn!!!!

I've come to the conclusion that it's restoration is still several years off and most certainly at the age of 64 time becomes more precious for me and my family.....I've owned the sport
now for 6 years and spent hundreds of hours just on the hull (it's perfect structurally)........I was just about to turn the corner and start rigging when an oppurtunity presented itself too
good to deny!.............I'm giving a few local friends first shot before I advertise...................I'll still be in the Aronow family of hi po boating, but rather, this time on the ocean boating.
Post some pictures of your 27' Magnum
