You can find lots of hydraulic steering setups on this site usually in the "swap shop" section or in the classifieds. Among the best available are Lathams Marine and Imco Marine. Lathams components are expensive but probably the best. Imcos are excellent as well. Here is the contact information for both companies:
Latham Marine Inc.

Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315
Tel. 800.422.RAMS (7267)
Tel. (954) 462-3055
Website http://www.lathammarine.com/contact.htm
Sales [email protected]
IMCO Marine
703 Wells Rd.
Boulder City, NV 89005
Tel. 1.888.427.7436
Tel. 1.702.294.3030

Good luck!

For the money, Zeiger Performance is the best out there. Paul has been in the business a long time and is great to deal with. Not saying IMCO or Latham are not good products but my experience says Zeiger is a great choice.

Hey G, Buon Anno!
+ 1 on everything said. Zeiger has quality products and great customer service. I bought a hydraulic helm for my midnight from Paul and he was very helpful and responsive. I installed IMCO rams on my Starfire which are also good. When I priced Latham they were much more expensive. Important in my opinion to use the "wing" style plates that integrate the tie bar not the "cap" style mounting for the steering rams. I'll post a picture of my installation, my membership expired.

With the "wing plate" mounting the tie bar and rams are in line so there is no potential twisting effect between the drives. Also the plate bolts on where the drive bolts to the transom assembly which I think is strongest. Some people use a tie bar that is mounted low on top of the cavitation plate ( old TRS applications) Hope this helps.
