After coming to a year stop on my Magnum, Glass Dave is taking on the job to fix blems in bottom and regelcoat to the rub rail. Moving in a forward motion again...

Greg is dave going to blueprint the bottom as well?...........keep posting progress!

Dave is going to take the hook out of one side and take the nasty awlgrip that was applied on bottom. Patch and repair where needed. Bottom looks to be in decent shape and fill the docking light holes in. Hope to have together by old school reunion 2018. Have the tow rig for the magnum almost complete too, 1973 F 250 highboy. Aka too many projects at once I am told.

Mayhem is in West palm for the winter. After my failed attempt to make it down to KW in Nov with the Midnight due to lack of lower units I trailered the Mag down instead. Thought I was having the reserve tank replaced after discovering fuel in the bilge but it appears to pressure test ok so now the culprit appears to be the stb. main tank. Good news is I didn't damage the reserve tank when beginning the job of removal and the main tanks are much easier to access. Annoying part is I replaced this tank 5 years ago... Had a fun run in the ocean from PB inlet to Jupiter inlet before she went to the shop. Heres a short vid from a run in the fall.
Ooops, says the file is too large, whats the trick to posting videos?

Marshall was the tank that failed fabricated by Alloy?.................in any case, 5 years is too soon.

It appears to be the case, yes, and its 1,000mi away so I can't even make him fix it !

New Power down here in Mississippi

6 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys! Hope everyone is doing well and in good health!

Took advantage of the mild winter here in Mississippi to rebuild the engines and add some stainless headers. Started the first one today, number 2 tomorrow.

Also did some wiring, fixed hynautic steering leak, lift cylinder rebuild, new props and hub kits, etc. etc. Never ends!

Jeff and Dennis

Hello everyone

This winter I landed my Starfire engines for a leak at the water pump and a revision to the starters

I made the units MAY now develop 8.2 remap 445 hp

Got them running!

Finally got the engines running, hopefully in time for a spring launch!

Came in at 380 HP each and 400 torque. Engines were 1 HP apart and zero difference in torque on the dyno.

Keep you posted on speeds once splashed. 270T will hold me back some but still operate beautifully so they stay.
