Default Rare 1973 Magnum 29-9

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for any information you can provide on this boat - 1973 Magnum 29-9. My understanding is it is an original 1 of 5 from Magnum. Raced as Thumper Two and Head Hunter only one left. Billy Martin raced it in the 70's and was undefeated. Hull is in great shape, has not seen water since 1977. Currently it is without an engine. The body is in good shape and all the hardware is there and it has a trailer. New seats worth 5k. My father owns this boat (this is his account). He has been out of the business for a couple years, and we are looking to liquidate. The information I am looking for is what is the market for these types of boats? Specifically, ones that need work. I am not someone who knows the business. Any info or next steps would be helpful.
Much appreciated!
Jason

Yes. He definitely new his Magnums. Had an entire garage full of parts. The boat is in Atlanta in a garage. Bud and few others were going to rebuilt and sell but it was too much work. Any idea what a boat like this is currently worth? $6-$10K?

I purchased a 1977 Starfire that needs full restoration and gave 2,500.00 this year. Has TRS drives, exhaust and other parts.

Default Rare 29-9

To be clear. It has no engines at all and #3 drives. It does not run. I believe Bud thought that the fact that it was a rare 29-9 and 1 of 5 would make this an awesome find. My guess now is there is not a heavy market for restores unfortunately. Any ideas where to list it for the best visibility?

Is this a single engine boat ? kind of hard to tell but the one engine appears to be in the middle, also see a transom assembly is that an extra or was it removed ?

Big block single engine. There is an extra transom assembly for use.
