Default Hull #71 Magnum 27

The seats in my boat have " HULL 71" written onto the fiberglass seat bases. These are the standard seats from the early 27s , and there was a tag from an upholstery shop in Pompano, FL.

My boat is a 1968, and I know that these seats are not original to my hull, possibly someone here knows of Hull 71 and how these came to be on my boat?

A long way to trace the history of my hull . . ?
The seats are red and white striped. As best I can tell my boat was originally yellow with white or light blue . .

Mario, hull #71 was a Sedan built in 1969 that went to the Coast Guard, your seats may have been in a Coast Guard Mag at one time. h2o

An answer so fast . . wow . . . and just where did you score that information?

What makes this a bit funny is I was told a story when I bought the boat that the son of the original owner was busted by the CG for smuggling drugs, way back before Massachusetts had a law of confiscation of property used in the drug trade.

All the credit goes to Bud's [Mr Vinyl] Magnum Sport & Sedan hull # list.
