Hey, your profile says you're in Largo FL. You should be able to boat dang near year round, let alone summertime!
Speaking of Largo FL, my boat was built there - ever hear of Prototype Custom Boats? (now out of business)

Check out my video from LOTO 2002. I made this using an old HI 8 video camera and really old & slow laptop a few years back, so the quality is the greatest
