what type of file does that camera save the video as? I wanna know if it will import to my editing software. I didn't see anything on their website...

Mine were saved as .AVI but I think you can choose what type to upload them as.

Brad has had his for a while maybe he has a better answer. i'm sure if you have editing software that it will work, its not exotic as I used Windos Movie Maker. It also work with MAC.

I have 4 more left before I need to order more.

AVI file will work for me. One more question....does the camera have a "Lanc" control? In other words, a control button connected by wire that lets you start/stop it remotely?

No it does not.
