Everyone is in trouble now :(

I guess many people think that because there are so many other religions in the world that; "which one" or "who could possibly be right"??? So, people take that and make up their own conclusions; "well, there is no such thing as an absolute truth---so, I will just make up my own truth and live my life as I please." So, when someone comes along and rings the warning bell (that there is an absolute truth) it upsets their way of thinking. People will use any excuse to not have to answer to someone (like God) for the way they live. They think God is some heavy handed task master.
And yet Jesus says; "Come unto Me , all you that weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon youand learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28-30)

As far as money and material possesions go...."For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?" Jesus Christ (Mark 8:36)
Brother, you could die tomorrow---and you won't be able to take it with you.
"Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand." Ecclesiastes
"For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." 1 Timothy 6:7
I have heard of wealthy people who in the last few days of their life---they weren't asking to be brought large wads of cash from their bank accounts nor did they ask about their material possesions----but instead they were asking about their family and these were not christian people.
Here's an interesting story that Jesus told...
"There was a certain man, which was dressed in purple and fine linen and live in luxery every day. And there was a certain begger named Lazarus who was laid at the rich man's gate, full of sores and only desiring to be fed the crumbs that fell from the rich mans table; even the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass that the begger died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side; and the time came when the rich man also died and was buried. And in hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far off, with Lazarus standing by his side.
And he cried out to him; Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I am tormented in these flames. But Abraham said; son, remember in your lifetime you recieved good things and likewise Lazarus recieved bad things, but now he is comforted and you are in torment. And besides all this, there is a great gulf fixed between us so that anyone desiring to go from here to you cannot, neither can anyone cross over from there to us.
Then the rich man answered; Then I beg you father Abraham, send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them so that they will not also come to this place of torment. Abraham replied; they have Moses and the prophets, let them listen to them.
No, father Abraham, but if someone went to them from the dead then they will repent. And Abraham said; If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead." Luke 16:19-31

Thanks for posting this video.
KAAMA - Thanks for spreading the word of God ! I myself feel I have let my Christianity fall to the wayside lately and this deffinitely picked me up back on my feet. I also feel as if the end times are getting close or are upon us. I think spreading the word of God is a great thing and it is really disheartening to see people shun when a comment is made about Christ.
I grew up right outside Chicago and went to a High School with a large number of muslims. These people HATE America and freely talked about it. I have gone toe to toe with many muslims, these people have a different look in their eye ( especially after you bang'em in the eye in front of half their friends ). You should have seen the things that happened in my neighborhood after 9/11.
KAAMA, keep spreading the word. I feel very uplifted after reading your postings.
Mike

BOBCATMATHEWS - Why do you keep posting ignorant comments after KAAMA posts ? What are you trying to accomplish ?
I can also agree this probably isnt the correct section to post this video in, but I am VERY glad it was posted !
It is funny, I have some different feelings about some of the people on this board after reading some of these posts.
BOBCAT - I can already say you are one person I really wont like socializing with on the boards here knowing you are probably a devil worshiper, but at the same time, I would risk my neck to save you if you were drowning in the ocean.

Yeah, I hear ya Bob. I know you don't take it seriously and you make a mockery of God---even so, I hold no ill will towards you, but death and eternity are still going to come knockin' on your door one day brother and within the first 5 minutes like everyone else you'll have a revelation then---but my hope for you is that you'll accept Christ before then.
A few years ago I remember someone telling me about a guy who someone was sharing Jesus Christ to at some rally. He laughed and mocked God and said something like; "I would rather live my pleasures here on earth and go to hell than to give my life to Jesus Christ". That night as he was leaving the rally on his motorcycle he was involved in a terrible accident. Some Christian from the rally was leaving as well and was only 30 seconds behind him ran over to him and immediately recognized him from the rally. As bad as the accident was he laid there conscious, (his body was completely severed in half) the Christian guy asked him if he wanted to accept Christ into his life at that moment as he was fading fast and the man said something like; "It's too late, I can already feel hell's flames on my legs" and then he died.
I also remember hearing stories of people in my own church who have accepted Jesus Christ into their life and the next day one guy had drowned and a girl was leaving from church one night and was killed in a car accident. Thankfully, they made a soul saving decision just in time.
This isn't just for Bob, but for any/all of those who are/may be reading this thread. I am always willing to share the truth of God's Word with someone. Life is short and very precious and it's never too late to accept Christ as long as you're still alive in this life as we know it. The trick is that we don't always know when we're going to die or when Christ will return.
Also, you cannot plead for your life when you die---the decision made for heaven or hell are made right here while you are still alive here on earth.

MikeI don't hold any bad feelings or ill will towards Bob or anyone else---even if they make a mockery of God or say bad things I mean I may not like what they say, but still it's no skin off my neck. Bob is just like anyone else who needs the Lord---he's just badly informed/decieved and wants to live his own life the way he feels he should live it and it is his own choice. I just feel it is neccessary to get the truth out to the lost---and do not care what people think or how much they may laugh because I know eternity in hell really isn't a laughing matter.
We need to be more concerned about what God thinks about us than what man thinks or says about us.

Before they would go out into combat Capt. Papov said all of the Soldiers were willing to pray and that faith in Jesus Christ was important to them. This was evident as the camera showed the men in the unit sitting around in a circle holding each others hands praying and singing to the Lord...out in an outpost that was attacted daily by the insurgents. The camera would show Captain Papov laying hands in prayer on some of the men in the unit who would break down and wail in crying after watching a group of their commrads---their friends being blown up in a humvee and seeing the carnage.
You know Bob, it's up to you, but you might want to rethink some of your responses as these Christian soldiers are over there fighting for you (as other men did in previous wars) so that you can have the freedom to say the things you say.
You say you believe in the devil/Satan---I can respect that and I was trying to be straight with you about it. You want a discussion on "religion" as you call it???...then fine MAN UP and lets get to it, and not say things like the cheap shot, shallow minded, apathetic attitude kind of crap you said in the quote above! In the mean time I don't think your joke would go over too well on the war front with these men who see death and war devistation and carnage every day as they fight for your freedom, but then I am quite sure you don't care as it is evident in your responses.
