Hey, when I was a kid if I could have gotton my GT160 up in the air like that I'd be doing it every minute. That was just plain cool.

Could be Nydahl steering which is used in a lot of outboard race applications. It may look like the old cable steering from a jon boat but it works very well.

Yeah exactly. Our old 11' Boston whaler with a 25 had that same setup.....Teleflex special: 6 pullies, a wheel and some cable and you're good to go.

That steering is the only reason he can do that. You need good, tight steering, overpower, a very light boat, big trim, and it's not that hard.

I had a 15ft Laser center Nydahl steering w/ a 140 on it - it would do that chit - fun as hell............. till the steering cable broke @ a high rate of speed....... ouch....
