I bought a Buick GNX from a guy in Mississauga who had them repaint it for him, it was PIN straight, but, wasn't cheap! Nice to see they are doing some more "custom" work as well as the "100 point perfect" resto's

Just curious? Anyone know what the fastest street driven car made is/was? speaking domestically [of course!, lol]
I know that Callaway built a "sledgehammer" vette that ran 254MPH about 20 years ago in Ohio. I know a McLaren F-1 will run 230+ as will the new Bugatti that costs about $1000000000. But, wondered what the fastest North American car was? I remember Saleen built some pretty fast stuff and I wondered does Callaway still hold the title? Michael |
I could be wrong but I think it was this custom built Gremlin from AMC!!!! :lolhit:

That Cuda is no doubt nasty but lets not give it to much credit. In 1970 Buddy Baker took a 69 Dodge Daytona to Talladega and hit 200.4 mph. This set a record which was held for 13 years. Lets not forget that's 1/4 of the technology that went into that super Cuda.

I imagine either Ford GT or Z07 Vette would be the fastest top speed regular production American cars.. You would have to disable the electronic speed limiters though.
(I dont consider Callaway/Saleen/"tuner" cars regular production cars) Thanks Michael |
