It was at 57-5800. I don't know why but that 27 actually turns less rpm then my 4 blade Hydromotive 30

Yeah wanted to give little back to SeaTow. I would say 800-850. I think blowers, turbos superchargers etc are great but I like simplicity. It doesn't get any more simple then a lot of cubes, Big Duke heads, monster solid roller cam rearranged firing order and one carb.

N/A boat???? I don't get it. But you really need to kick up the pitch before you lose the engine. Atleast a 28-30. I have a few for sale if you are interested

I borrowed my brothers prop. Corrected (23.5 pitch) I usually run a 25 and see around 67 but engine was built for high RPM dyno pulls still make lots of power past 6k, I think it ran 5600 with the 25. But regardless it should'nt be that high RPM so I'm changing/rebuilding it this winter. And want to have my prop redone with more lift and a little less pitch. Maybe 24pitch and hoping for 5800-900 @ 70. I'd be happy. It's a very heavy boat with 23*deadrise I believe.
