Default wackers at Oconee!

Hey guys.............there is a big o/b get together event this weekend at Oconee. The details are on Screamandfly.com. Angie and I may head over there and check it out. I think I'll stay clear of the -toona this weekend. Something about 10' over full just can't be good.
Heck of a nice Holiday inn Express and Suites on the water with slips(free if you're staying there) at Oconee (Eatonton).

Gerry, It's gonna be hard to get the car motor crowd to go with you. They are just too slow!!!!!!

Hey Chris. What's going on? Yeah, this will be strange. Nobody will be giving me shiat when I fire them up
I'm sure those guys are going to be killing us out of the hole, so we'll just have to play catch-up. I think Ron H. may be going but haven't heard. Have a good one.

Had a good time. The Holiday Inn and Suites was REALLY nice. It reminded me of a ski-lodge type of hotel with the stacked stone everywhere and the exposed beams throughout. They had a 8-10 slip boat dock area, power at each slip, long spaces for boats and trailers in the parking lot(with water and power at each spot). Huge suites, wet bar, small kit. area, jacuzzi, etc. Big pool and hot tub area right on the water.
The lake was nice..............albeit a little muddy. Glass smooth though. Nice people and some pretty fast and cool boats. I would've liked to stretch out the Daytona on a few runs but we kept running up on skiers or timber . I don't think too many Aircraft techs live there on the water. That place is just money!
We're not boating this weekend (family down)....maybe see ya next weekend.
