i will be in the baltimore area for a while and have saturdays off, looking for some nice hang outs along the water to go visit, if anyone has any info would be appreciated

Fells Point has some great bars and restaurants. You can go to inner harbor but it is not as good as fells point in my opinion.

If you are staying in the city then Canton Square is a must! It is not on water, but it is by far the best bars in B-more. Good bars on the water in the City are Bay Cafe and Victors is ok. You won't see many boats there this time of year. Other dock bars are out on Middle River, about 25 min car ride out of the city...Good luck.

If you travel 3 blocks out of Fells Point in any direction you'll see why , Ghetto doesnt even describe it

Bay Cafe used to rock. Haven't been there in years though....

Check out Reckless Rics and Dics Dock bar while your visiting or Rock Hall if you will have transportation.

DC and Annapolis are a close road trip if looking for something different.
