From what we have heard it is a fairly good marina. I know there are others on here that use the ramps and live close by

Thanks,

I will take a look at it Saturday on my way up to DC.

I am planning a trip up the AICW in May, and I need a
dry storage for a few months.

Hope Spring did a major renovation about 1-2 years ago. It is the nicest marina in the area. The added a new large boatel. Its connivent to the Potomac only about 5-10 min no wake zone and a another 5 min past that in your in the river. Its close to the interstate (about 10min).

Hope it helps.

We used Hope Springs as our starting point for two trips on the Potomac River to Old Town Alexandria last summer. Ramps and facility were very nice. It's a short drive off I-95 although the last mile or two are on a very narrow road with no shoulders. Sdwayz on this board introduced me to this marina and would have more information. If you have a chance, boat up to Old Town Alexandria and Georgetown.

Thanks to you all.

I just paid a visit to Hope Springs Marina,
and I am going to use it. It is really a nice
marina, and they don't rip you off on the gas
prices like they do in Florida.
I will probably be motoring up in May.

Again thanks to you all,

Warren

I agree that last mile to the marina with a 32' is hell. I always tell the wife that I sure hope nobody's comming the other way so far I've been lucky

I live on the about 1000 yards away before the no-wake zone. I can see them from my dock, I might have a lift I can do short term rent on also if they want a longer lease.
