Be on the look out for some crazy, drunk people on the beast.....

Beak Boater 05-19-2008 02:08 PM

I know we are coming out on Sun, just not sure what time. What time does the Worx band play. Talked to them at the Blessing of the Bikes, cold, wet, nasty day, they still put on a good show.

we might try to make it for the June date :drink:

The Worx did another great job of packing the house on Sunday. I've never seen so many people before at Gilligans, great times! I do have to say that Maryland Mark wasn't the prettiest one there or even in the top 10, but he did represent.

Beak Boater 05-27-2008 09:33 AM

Yep...they rocked the place again. They must have some exclusive followers. I swore I saw Bill Idol in the crowd. It must have been him. He got onto this 53 foot Sea Ray, he is the only one that could afford to run a boat that big. Oh and you should have seen the woman he was with.:hitfan::evilb:

We will be at the Port Tobacco version of the Tiki Bar sat nite on my new ride, but dont tell anyony, especially Randy and Wayne.:evilb:

Beak Boater 05-29-2008 05:36 PM

We will be in Ocean City for the OPA race. What did you get???You will have the whole Tiki Bar to your self. Except for M.M.

seltzer 05-30-2008 08:34 AM

The three of us should have fun at PT Tiki. Mike will need more than a blower to get around me, but im not gonna let the "CAT" (pun intended) out of the bag just yet. But you guys are pretty smart, Im sure you will figure it out.:party-smiley-004:

Beak Boater 05-30-2008 01:31 PM

Congrats John, wish we were in PT, to see the unveiling. If you ding any props going in and out, see M.M. he has about 20 and just ordered more. Im sure it runs good.

seltzer 05-30-2008 10:48 PM

Thanks guys. MM how the heck did you figure it out! Hopefullty the weather be ok. If not I always have the Plastic Fantastic.

and that Spectre cat looks familier , i might be wrong but i thaught i saw it in the creek at the Pirates Den in Fairview , waiting (like me) for the storm to pass before hitting the river again

one of these days i'll actually meet you guys

seltzer 06-03-2008 02:07 PM

MM I know you have a key card for Port Tobacco but not my gated community in Lake Ridge. Your good. Ill take more pics soon but i had to finish the whipple install.:D

Audra,
May I suggest the Aug 31st date. This is Labor day weekend. We will have the Sea Ray up there (if it hasn't sold by then). The other dates are on Sunday afternoon/evenings of a non-holiday weekend. Not sure we would be going to those as we have to get back to Herndon. Wish they were on Saturday instead. Let me know.

45sonic 06-19-2008 11:59 AM

Rob

45sonic 08-08-2008 10:18 AM

Will be trying to make it, Also, a group called Old School will be playing on the Dockside deck tommorow at 5. Try to make it down. Getting ready to head that way by 2.

ENFORCER24 08-08-2008 12:54 PM

yeaaa Colonial Beach
I'm a Member of the Yacht Club thats putting on Dog Days of August on the beach behind dockside , it would be awesome to see a bunch of go-fasts make it there for both the bands that are playing saturday night

Linster 08-09-2008 07:00 AM

We are going at 5 but we will be in the jet boat or pontoon. Look out for us

Linster 08-12-2008 02:09 AM

Now I can predict storms on the Potomac. When the Worx plays at Gilligans, Its going to storm. Last 2 times

ENFORCER24 08-12-2008 07:13 AM

Now i know everyone saw my POS boat on sunday , it was the one getting the crap beat out of it on the pier , good thing all my dough is in the power , cause the port side of my hull is tattoo'd with imprints of the pilings and pier
time to start looking project boat to put my power in

the ride back to CB was awesome , it was a 30 minute long log flume ride , no rain but we were all soaked to the bone

Exactly why we didnt stick around Sunday, plus I called around for a doppler report, plus Bill and Patti gave us the heads up on the rain.
Sorry we missed you Saturday, I was impatient for some swamp water, so after we ate at Dockside we took off. :ernaehrung004:

If you were the one to the inside by the lifts then I saw ya. I tried to help keep your bow off of the dock when you were leaving. I was in a slip but still worried me. It can't possibly rain everytime the Worx come down, but it sure seems like it.

that was me , thanks for the help with my bow , but that lil bump on the pier was nuthing compared to the beating it took while i was up in the bar , either way i still had a blast
you came down with the 30 foot baja that was slipped right next to you right? , new blowers but havent re-propped yet ?

anyway , it was fun both the band and the ride , wish more people had come out.
