I've got a sales rep in that area that claims UNC has a contract with another cell provider and no other company gets a signal on UNC campus. Somehow that seems un-likely. We provide verizon phones and for several reasons I do not want to go with another provider......anyone confirm deny coverage by Verizon in that area?

Lived in Chapel Hill a few years ago and never had a problem with Verizon. Also attended a basketball game this past winter, no problem. Not sure now, but at one time Verizon was a sponsor on the cups you received at the games.

Maybe once school starts back up we should just ride down there, & if our wives cannot get in touch w/ us then we know.
