Anyone know what boating is like on Lake Wylie, SC. Is it big enough for an off shore boat or is it a ski boat lake.

Dont know from experience....post on Boatfreaks.org site. A lot of the SC. and NC. boaters hang their. They can tell more about it.

the lake is about 25 miles long and there is everything from 12 to 50 ft there. it is not a big lake but you can run some. Also 40 miles north you have lake norman and it is much bigger. we like to say the people are wild on wylie and normal on norman.
