Default Engine Builder Monty Cline of Chester VA.

I just wanted to put it out there that Monty is back to building engines full time, anyone that been around performance for any length of time knows or has heard of Monty Cline. Monty has been building my Race Engines for years and is very reasonable, he let's me do all the stuff i can do (pull engine out, remove accessories) witch saves me money and he handles everything I can't do. Anyone that knows Monty knows how meticulous he is and will find the best solution to any problem. You can call him direct at 804-307-4117

Is he working out of a shop somewhere or at home. I'm going to be starting on a motor for a street rod, soon. I haven't seen him in over a year. Thanks

Yes, The shop is off Rt1, 1st Left going south on 1 past John Tyler, a mile or so on the right, dropped my motor off there last week, he found 2 bad rockers that could have been catastrophic.

fastedy,

I have a 502mpi that needs a re-build. What kind of time frame do you think for something like this?

I bought a 598 from a guy named Tom with a superboat. I believe you know this guy. I have not done a thing with the motor yet mainly because I am having a hard time spending the money on a drive that will handle it. So now I am thinking of just rebuilding my 502 and bumping up the hp a little and selling the 598. I work in Afghanistan and I am only home for short periods of time thus the reason for turn around time on the rebuild.

Yes it did come from California, and it was in the boat you bought. Anything I need to know about it before I put it in? Good or Bad, I would rather know before I put it in if something needs to be repaired.

I will call Monty today and metion this post.
