Details..........Run starts at the Tappahannock bridge and we run apprx. 10-12 miles down river to a water stop to p/u a prize, from there we run back up river past the bridge to a water stop near Naylors and p/u a goody bag. Then we run apprx. 10-12 miles up river to a beach for an afternoon of fun. Food and non alcoholic beverages are served, D.J, Moon bounce and activities for kids, Horseshoe and cornhole tournament. We will have $10 poker hands for our grand prize, 50/50 raffle amd tshirts for sale. All proceeds benefit the "ASK" pediatric oncology clinic at MCV. Its a combination of both..... kids are on the run, we do have kids activites. We also like to enjoy ourselves! :evilb:Safely of course. Its a typical day on the river....you cruise alittle bit, you hang out on the beach. Have some lunch, have some drinks and listen to the dj

We would love to have you ThunderStruck. Its a good time

Potomac Fever 07-28-2011 05:58 PM

Randy, It is my understanding that Jason is putting in at a private Ramp that will more than likely be able to accomodate you as well.. because you guys have big boats. I was going to meet Jason at Hornes In Port Royal and put my little boat in at June Parker Marina at Tappahannock. Chuckels your fans await you.. while you sign autographs and shake hands I'll drink your beer:drink:
Should be fun hope to see you all there

Jason has the details I call him today or get him to respond. The ramp is not far from the start and I think it starts at 11 so I was going to get there at 1015 or so

Yeah. He pulled the carb off and took it to his shop and called me this morning. First thing he asked was "who worked on this thing...?" He said it didn't have a new carb kit on it and that the jets were completely out of wak. Also said the linkage wasn't where it was supposed to be but that the carb was the reason I wasn't able to spin more than 4300-4400 RPM. He said he'll be able to have it spinning 5200 with no problem. We're river testing in the AM. :evilb:

Boat count is in the low 30's right now. We will probably be alittle over 35 boats. The Run has come together nicely. We have some nice door prizes to give away and we will be selling poker hands for a chance to win a GoPro camera. Total length of run is about 40 miles. As far as whos going......we have center consoles, pontoon boats, and power boats from low 20' to 42'.

bajario52 08-02-2011 02:08 PM

Count me in for the run. I'll have Sdwayz, his girlfriend and myself for a total of three. See you on Saturday AM.
