Has anyone been out yet? The weather has been nice.

Put the boat on the lift two weeks ago.... been out twice! :D

Been out twice, to Gilligan's once. Whats taken you so long? Thats right those race boats require alot of work to get ready.:cool:

we've had our jet boat out all year, even in January when it was nice weather, slashing the big boat maybe next weekend

haha. just been busy trying to get everything else done so I can focus on boating b/c once you start, you cant stop. And I have been contemplating a motor change/upgrade. Soon though.

Went back in the water today , boat ran great . It was a brisk lunch run :cool-smiley-011:

I went out today. Got a .60 / gallon discount on gas at Giant. Filled her up!

Went out the friday before last when it was in 80s ran out of Joppatowne up to the nauti goose than to the chesapeake inn. the place was packed and we were surprised to see about a half a dozen other go-fasts. Than back to Joppatowne before dark. The bay was a sheet of glass. Than all "heak" broke loss and I mean broke, The left rear axle bearing just desinagrated.

Went out yesterday, ran around for 30 mins or so just to warm her back. Little chilly on the idle back in

About two weeks ago just to stretch its legs. Been ordering parts and tools to get dialed in before it gets really nice

I keep mine running year-round as much as possible. I just finished Spring maintenance yesterday--Come on Summer :cool:

Put the CC in and on the lift 2 weeks ago.

Put the DCB in this past weekend. :)

I hope to by the end of april, I'm sending my gauges out for a refurb, but am so busy at shop no time to take them out. Autometer has a week turn around time, so if I can get them out tomorrow I'll be looking good for may :)

Why autometer? Why not use Livorsi Rob, I had them redo all mine back in January, they did a great job and they were reasonable on price.

Heading to Dock of the Bay or the new Sunset Cove this weekend for our first ride of the year!

Sunset Cove is the old WILD DUCK...under new ownership and suppose to be a really fun place this year!

Going to splash the 1958 Norris Craft on Saturday, and the Velocity on Sunday.

Dropping the Sunny in this weekend....shooting for Saturday but definitely Sunday....forecast says 82!!!:evilb:

Where you guys going? I plan on putting in at Smallwood on Sat. and heading north. G-Town anybody?

Can't stay out long, so G-town is out for me. But planning on being out between 1-4 at either Smallwood or Goose Bay, depending on time.

I dont doubt that!!!! The way that thing hops, skips and jumps, I'll bet their will be alot of splashes.:boat:

Boats at the shop right now.. Looking to possibly splash this weekend or next.. Depending on how long its under the knife..

When are they planning on having the work completed?

Went down to Fairview yesterday. Pretty nice day, there were a few dozen boats down there.

Gilligans was pretty crowded by land and sea. You should have kept comin' Dave. Was anyone in the water at Fairview? There were a few in the water at Chapel point?

We were at Gilligans yesterday. Got there at 1PM or so and got a slip. The water taxi started running a little later in the day. Good times as usual.....

Dave said it would take a couple days once he gets the parts.... I'm still aiming for the 28th to get wet...

Going out friday Hittin the Chesapeake inn and maybe the Red Eye. Than deal with the crowds later in the weekend. Watch out for the piers.

Are most of you guys hailing from MD? I'm a new boat owner and keep her stored in VA off of Neabsco Creek (1 mile from Leesylvania and 2 miles from Tim's 1) ... Would like to meet some locals out on the water sometime. :)

Where do most of you plan on hanging on sunday?..Im not looking for boat rides..just want to be around the "real" boat guys. ;) I have to make this feel like home a little bit and at least be near the water and around boats..:evilb:

There's a mixture of VA, MD and others. Fairview Beach is a big Potomac habgout. That's about 20 milesa south of Neabsco on the VA side. I'm think I'm heading down there today.

Is it an actual beach that you can get to by land or is there a bar there? Did I meet you last weekend at Thursdays Dave? Do you have an all white superboat?
