500efi with a side mounted whipple...not sure of HP but I believe around 700-750

Don't forget about the 6 foot plywood cat that had a clamp on O/B, it went 20 mph. He almost stuffed it and it was pretty calm out He had it straped onto an old 16-18' runabout like a tube. Pushed it into the water and then clamped the motor on. priceless

i officially recorded a speed of 28 mph in my 8ft 1992 hydro.
powered by a 15hp MERCURY outboard. fyi the windscreen exploded on that one smoker
