Ouch! Right to the point. Lol bad experience or just from what you've noticed and seen on others. I'm only curious myself as I'm looking at repainting this winter. And had a small thought about wrapping.

Wraps are only as good as the graphic designer and the installer. Have had wraps on my boats, trailers, and tow vehicles. I also have custom painted bikes, cars and a boat. Each has its pros and cons. For a bold, cost effective look its hard to argue that a wrap is chit, as long as its applied right!

I think there is a argument for both. If you have the coin and you have a high $ boat, by all means pay the $ to paint the boat. If you are on a budget, like the flashy look (not the basic classic hockey stick look) and not a high $ boat, do the wrap. Yes the paint is more durable and might have a bit of depth, there is a huge difference in price. A nice wrap might cost $3500 and the same wrap in paint might cost $25000. One thing to to remember is that you have to be gentle with the wrap it is not nearly as durable as paint.
