Default 4th july on Lake Norman

looking to see if anything fun going on at the lake for the 4th?
Anyone going to be there? where is the best cove to hang out as we have never been?
Thought about taking the camper up if a campground close enough to dock the boat over night to keep off the roads

There is a huge tie up every weekend . Somewhere between 100-250 boats and a huge party . Lots of fun. Just get there and follow the traffic of other boats or just ask someone. Can't miss it. I usually don't go out on the forth to avoid drunk idiots. Jeff Wurl
