Rod N Reel Brunch
Planning on heading to Rod N Reel in Chesapeake Beach, MD on Saturday or Sunday for brunch if anyone is going to be out and about. I'm leaving Denton around 8:30 and will head down the Choptank river to cross over to the Western Shore. Bay forecast looks better for Saturday but weather forecast looks better for Sunday so I am waiting for the better half to tell me which day she would like to go.

Anyone running from the north down to this be aware that the Chesapeake bay bridge will be shut down for crossing underneath from about 7am-noon. Due to the Great Bay swim event. there will be 3100 swimmers swimming the 4.4 miles during that time frame.

Ended up going on Saturday morning and meeting up with my in-laws who volunteered to take the kids for the weekend so we ended up going to Chespaeake Beach again Sunday to pick the youngest back up. It was a beautiful weekend up here and I spent a majority of my time on the water so all in all, great time.
Launching from Denton, MD on the Choptank River and running to Chesapeake Beach/ Rod-N-Reel took 1 hour and 5 mins. If anyone wants to meet up later this year, let me know! I boat mostly south of Kent Island and Choptank.
