Default Need info on boat show & hotels nearby

Well, I talked Kenneth into going to the boat show...yippeee!
We plan on leaving in the morning and heading straight to the show. Could someone please tell us where it is, how to get there and some of the hotels that are nearby. We will also need directions to the get together after the show. We look forward to seeing everyone and having a great time (we may even do some purchasing!)
If anyone needs to reach us here are our cell numbers:
Kenneth 803/518-6433
Cat 803/309-3571

See ya tomorrow!
Cat

Cool Hey Cat!

Not too familiar with hotels/motels in the area, but the Boat show is at the Georgia World Congress Center, in the GA. Dome/Phillips arena area. Take I-75/85 North from I-20 and follow the signs.

HI! Glad you guys can make the show! There are quite a few good hotels in the area, but we would actually suggest the Buckhead area over downtown. Buckhead is probably about 10 minutes away. Most likely any hotel you stay at you would need to drive to the World Congress Center, so Buckhead is our recommendation. There are a number of bars / clubs there which would be within walking distance if you wanted to go out. (Although it is COLD here!) They have everything from Embassy Suites, to the Grand Hyatt, to AmeriSuites, and DoubleTree. Based on the board response, it doesn’t look like there are many people getting together. We’re not even sure what our plans are yet (Gerry may have to work), but we’re definitely going to the boat show at some point. Feel free to call us!

Hope to see you!
